A Fall Day of Service at Open Farms
The ABH team spent a beautiful fall morning alongside volunteers at Open Farms, helping prepare the garden for its next growing season. We pulled weeds, cleared finished crops, and worked alongside the incredible Open Farms staff.
About Open Farms & Open Arms
Open Farms is an urban CSA run by Open Arms of Minnesota. Each summer, it provides 16 weeks of sustainably grown vegetables and herbs, which are used both in CSA shares and in Open Arms’ medically tailored meal program.
Open Arms prepares and delivers free, nutritious meals to Minnesotans living with life-threatening illnesses. Their work is powered by volunteers and guided by a simple belief: food is medicine.
