Welcoming Bill Keute to ABH Board

ABH Board Member
We are delighted to welcome William “Bill” Keute, DDS to the Advocates for Better Health Board of Directors.
Bill is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and began working as a general dentist with Scenic Rivers Health Services this summer. Scenic Rivers is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving communities in northern Minnesota. During dental school, Bill developed a strong interest in advocacy, serving on the Minnesota Dental Association Legislative Affairs Committee and participating in advocacy efforts through the American Student Dental Association at both the state and national levels.
Bill first became involved with ABH as a participant in our Public Health Advocacy Fellowship, where he valued the opportunity to learn alongside students and professionals from across health disciplines and explore the many ways health professionals can advocate for healthier communities. That experience strengthened his interest in bringing people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and approaches together around a shared goal of better health for all.
Now practicing in rural Minnesota, Bill is particularly interested in the many dimensions of health equity and access. He believes improving health requires not only ensuring people can reach healthcare services, but also strengthening health literacy, supporting mental wellbeing, and addressing systemic barriers that contribute to poorer health outcomes.
We are excited to have Bill continue his journey with ABH as a member of our Board and look forward to the perspective, curiosity, and commitment to advocacy he will bring to our work.
