We are delighted to welcome Jourdan Hennick, MPH to the Advocates for Better Health Board of Directors.
Jourdan is a community health and wellness professional with more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of mental health and public health. As a Health & Wellness Coordinator at Mental Health Resources, she supports individuals living with serious mental illness in accessing care, reducing tobacco use, and strengthening overall wellbeing. Her work also includes advancing racial equity, health communication, and systems change to improve access to care for underserved communities.
Jourdan brings tenacity, creativity, and deep commitment to health equity. She is passionate about addressing gaps in policy and practice that affect individuals living with serious mental illness, particularly in areas such as oral health access, tobacco prevention, and community-based health education. Her advocacy is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves timely access to the resources they need to live healthy lives.
We are excited to welcome Jourdan’s thoughtful leadership and strong public health lens to the ABH Board as we continue working toward healthier, more equitable communities.
